Space Between Entertainment announces new Publisher and Quarter One slate of titles

Chris Halton joins Space Between Entertainment as Publisher

Space Between Entertainment, the comic book publisher located on Long Island, NY founded by Pat Shand, is proud to announce new additions to our masthead, including a new Publisher.

Chris Halton, Operations Manager and Group Editor of our Dark Veil imprint, has been promoted to Publisher. In this role, Chris will work with President Pat Shand and Editor-in-Chief Shannon Lee to develop an exciting slate of titles for Space Between Entertainment and its imprints, Cheeky Comics and Dark Veil.

In addition to our new Publisher, we have added three new roles to our masthead.

Keith Parks joins the team as Office Staff, where he will work with Vice President Steve Jay and Warehouse Manager Bob Lopes to perfect our fulfillment process. In 2024, the team has fulfilled a stunning 27 Kickstarter campaigns with the help of Keith.

Chris Moses (co-writer of Dark Veil, Death Goddess of Cthulhu) and Anthony Stokes (co-writer of the forthcoming Demon Time) join the masthead as Story Editors. In this role, they will be developing new titles for Space Between Entertainment and assisting in editorial. Both Moses and Stokes have had success with their own titles such as I Summoned a Demon And She’s Kinda My Type and It’s Fun To Kill People, and now they will bring their unique creative visions to our company.

This past weekend, members of Space Between Entertainment gathered along with Ralph Tedesco (writer of Give Em Hell and head of Black Crow Comics) and Jeff Massey (Assistant Editor of Destiny NY and writer of Vixx the Hunter) to develop our 2025/2026 slate of titles.

The Escort #1

Next up from our collaborations between Ralph’s Black Crow Comics company and our Cheeky Comics imprint is a brand new title: The Escort.
